What is bursitis?

Kneeling at working or lying on your side at night may increase your risk of knee or hip bursitis, respectively.

Bursitis is a painful condition that occurs when the bursae, small fluid-filled sacs located around the joints, become inflamed. The risk of bursae increases with increased repetitive motion or pressure on joint. Causes
